FYI, all 3 surviving members of our corp, agree with any arrangement for ending BOTE that has corp 10/13 tied for first place.

The players in Team FEN was the ones that brought out the proposal.

And Hekate speaks for Terra and they agree.

Jerry sysop at Coastgames and Col Sanders sysop at The Chicken Coop have asked me and FEN to host BOTE 2002. We accept this invitation to run BOTE 2002. Look forward to invitations to BOTE 2002. Also you can look forward to some changes for this years BOTE to prevent another marathon but still without doing a whole lot of game edits to preserve the spirit of BOTE.

March 10, 2002 Game has started to slow down. After a few unfortunate eliminiations of some of the driving forces the game have almost grinded to a halt. I asked the teams for possible ways of end the game. Team Terra refuses any pretermination of the game or any changes to the game. Team Costgames didn't see any reason to do any chagnes sure one could timelimit but they didn't feel it would speed up the game anything. Both team FEN and Chicken Coop was positive to both time limits and possibility of declaring a winner based on players vote and sysop decision.

Since the teams don't agree to one solution game will go on as it stands for now. However as sysop I reserve me the right to declare a winner by June 1st unless no single team by that time dominiate the game or the players can agree on a winner.

February 6, 2002 Receive on ICQ this morning from FoundersFury CEO of The Amphibian Invasion.

"Corp 2 Officially conceded tonight. We blew our planet with 10 bil creds on it so that it doesn't create an unfair balance for whoever should find where we've hidden all game long.. =)"

Last extern Bad Girl timed out and thosely team StarDock is now finally disbanded completely.

Also 2 of team FENs players have had major problems getting online due to the bad winter storm in the mid west. Their cable service been out for days due to bad ice rain that brought down trees and powerlines. This weather caused FEN to be down 3 times wednesday last week. We had 2 2.5 hours poweroutages (1hour apart) then almost 19 hours after first poweroutage we had another 2 hour power outage. Our power backup system is only designed for 30min outages so all three times we where effectively brought offline.

Corp 10 and 13 are continuing to battle out and stacking the pods sky high. The old record is broken with a LOT of pods and not only by one player but so far THREE players.

January 27, 2002 Death list updated!

During the last 6 days The Chicken Coop been VERY offensive. Added a total of an amazing 28 blow ups. If they will keep this up they will have 2 if not 3 players that gotten more blow ups then the player that had most blowups last year.

Coastgames have added a few to their blowup list but not even close to the amount of blows The Chicken coop added up. Menudo seem to gotten in such a hurry that he blindwarped and lost a life. Bad Girl has not reentered the game yet I would imagine this means she given this game up. Bullfrog had a run in with Master Time and lost and currently is #SD# but still got 2 lifes left.

January 21, 2002 Death list updated! 18 brave and dedicated players left in the game. Chicken coop have had their first elimination lets all thank Cherokee for playing.

During the 21 days since the last death update team Terra been on the offensive and been attacking team FEN. This resulted in the eliminiation of Hekate (planet dropped) and Gdawg's escape pod getting waxed by Talon.

Chicken coop been doing some invading and gotten a few blowups but the leader in most blow ups is still Kemper even tho he didn't get a single blow up during the last 21 days since last update.

Forum... Seems that I messed it up a little a while back without noticing it. Got it fixed now so if you want to write a public message the forum is back online again. Sorry for that.

December 30, 2001 Death list updated! 20 days since last time. Been a busy time especially with the holidays and all so hard to find the time to do the updates. 22 brave and dedicated players left in the game. Chicken coop still got 6 players left and going strong. Coast games lost one player due to time out I do believe but they are still stacking up deaths due to invasions on other teams. Since a couple of weeks ago we are running on v.54 of twgs. As far as I know no real issues showed up in the upgrade. A lot of problems should have gotten solved.
