Dear Trade Wars fan,

As we approach the 20th anniversary of the original release of Trade Wars (December, 1986), I am pleased to announce that I have reached an agreement with Sylien Entertainment to develop a long-overdue graphical remake of this classic game. But before we can proceed, we need your help. Because Trade Wars is 20 years old, I have lost touch with all but a small percentage of its fanbase. Unless we can reach out to this fanbase and prove that interest in Trade Wars still exists, we will be unable to secure the funding necessary to complete this project.

To accomplish this, we are running a small survey to estimate the number of people who have played or hosted Trade Wars over the years. By answering this one-question survey, you will enable us to demonstrate the great potential of a new Trade Wars project. Nothing else will be required of you, but if you choose, you may request to receive a monthly Trade Wars newsletter with updates on our progress. And if you really want to help out, you can complete an optional, more extensive survey. We would love to learn more about your experience with Trade Wars.

For this effort to succeed, I need you to forward this email to anyone who might be in contact with a past Trade Wars player or game host. Most of them have been away from the game for many years, and this is our only hope of reaching them.

The summer was busy, the herb garden grew like "weeds" and the crop has been dried and stored to enjoy all winter long. Fall was exceptionally beauitful this year. My neighbor and I took our dogs hiking along a river near us. Here are the pictures I took on that hike. Fall 2003

Yes, I'm still here, and still updating the pic page. Be sure to check out What & Who's new there. And yes, I'm still NOT smoking! It's been over 11 months I've been Nicotine FREE! I'm still not gaming anywhere, if you can believe that. Instead I've been doing more cooking, eating and exercising because everything tastes so wonderful! I'm enjoying the "smells of spring" and I've planted my first kitchen herb garden. I'm really looking forword to cooking with fresh herbs.
Just the other day I received a phone call from none other than Space Ghost himself. What a treat to hear from him. His news is that he's also quit smoking! Woo-Hoo! :) Love Ya SG!

Humm... long time no update, sorry. I've been keeping busy, and my "Big News" is, I've quit smoking. After 28 years, I've not smoked for 2 months now, and I've been nearly 1 month nicotine free. I highly recommend this site if you are thinking about quitting also QuitNet.
Yes, I'm going to be one of those annoying ex-smokers that I hated when I smoked. I really can't tell you how much better you will feel when you do quit... it's a euphoria you'll just have to experience first-hand :)

It's with a heavy heart I read of the latest Twarrior to forever more dock his ship in port 0. EleqTrizi'T's Farwell
This young man was not only an awesome player, but also ran the most popular TWG's game server, and had (in his time) the most popular TW web page. The size of his huge EGO was only surpassed by the size of his heart when it came to giving to the TW Community. If it were not for him, TW would not have developed as quickly as it has after HVS dropped MBBS TW.
He will forever be imortalized with ports carrying his name, Agustin, Agustin Primus, Agustin Annex... when you see these ports, please send him a cap file, and a thank-you for all he's given.

You will be missed Auggie. Best wishes to you and yours.
