First Name : Russ
When did you start Playing Tradewars : 1995
How Long have you Played Tradewars : Roughly 3 Years minus many MIA days in-between
Alias Used in the Game : Rawhead Rex
How I Choose my Alias : Rawhead Rex is a B Movie based on a short story by Clive Barker. I picked up the handle in my pre-TW days whenever I was playing online or networked games. I was undefeated with it, so it stuck.
Are You a Member of any Group in TW : I am presently playing with The Black Knights, but I am not a permanent member. I was also on the original Dominance Enterprises! (DE!) corp with EleqTriziT (playing as Premier at the time), Retaliator and Maelene. I have also worked closely and very successfully with many different solid players. Too many to mention, but I would like to note Last Starfighter has been my wingman for sometime now, and is a hell of a player.
Helpers / Programs Used : ZOC, no helpers. I got my speed from NOT using any helpers or macros for a LONG time.
Awards / Recognition Received Best Blue Player --  Home Sector Awards (2000)
Best Blue Player -- 3rd Annual Tradewars Awards (2000)
Best Hunter -- 3rd Annual Tradewars Awards (2000)
Rankings of Rex Guardian's Rankings : Leader(3) , Killer(3) , Invader(3) , Builder(2.5) and Evil(2.2)
Epicenter's Rankings : 5 out of 5 Stars
Best Game / Tournament you ever played in : Definitely back on Legacy Net in Fresno when, after corping with DE! they did not invite me back for the following game. Premier and Retaliator owned the universe at the time, and were ready for another cake walk. Well, I was pretty pissed they didn't invite me, so I got together a rag-tag team that turned out to be one hell of a group. Outcast, Top Gun, Mortal and I gave them some great games, which we will all remember. Since then, there have been many great games, but I would say the best tournament showing was the last USO where I was on a solid corp of: Eleq, Guardian, Peacemaker, Ripclaw, Retaliator and I. Guardian and I had alot of fun whacking people at the end :)
Tournaments
( Major / Minor )
I'm 2 out of 3 in Major tournaments . The two I won were  USO '99 and USO '00 . I was in HHT '99 , but it was basically just Peace and I, although I ended up being the only online threat for the BK's. Hehe got a nice kill on cruncher while they were stealing, was funny. As you know, I owned the title game on eleqs board for a LONG time. That's it really.
Best Corp. you were ever  been On : The USO team was damn good, but I think the corp. with the most potential in their line up has been the current WTC Black Knights team. Maverick, Artemis, Lord Chaos, Ripclaw, Last Starfighter and I. You can't get too much more solid than that. The combined knowledge and experience of the corp is scary.
How you Play Good : I view myself as very aggressive with enough planning to win the game. Short-term, long-term, my game plan is to dominate from start to finish. Most people think of me as simply a killer, but others know that I am also very good at building. Invading is my specialty, the fact that other people have planets in my universe makes me very upset :)
How you Play Evil : I am known as a Blue player, but I know I can hang with the best Reds too. I have proven it here and there. I conserve turns and cash out. Always ready to go toe-to-toe when needed also.
BBS/Servers that you like the Most: Eleq's The Home Sector. I don't play anywhere else anymore.
Your feelings on being a player or CEO in games I usually end up being a CEO, but titles mean nothing to me. I enjoy being on a corp with people who know what to do and how to do it. Most of the people I corp with are strong enough to CEO and don't need to be told what to do. I think its much better to have people who think for themselves than
players who NEED to be told what to do.
What influenced your style of play or helped you become the great player that you are Early on it was Eleq. He was the king of the board we used to play on. I learned alot from him, and we had some great battles, pushing each other to the next level. More recently, Hellcat has been the most fun to play against. I have never corped with him, however I think we have a mutual respect for each other as far as our online fighting abilities. I haven't found many people who can match him.
Trick or Suggestion can you give to help other TW players: Well there are a lot of "tricks of the trade" that I could share,
but why the hell would I want to do that? Best way to learn and stay alive is to always know who is online. Then, you need to understand your enemies and their game playing style. You hit my fig, I'm coming after you. You hit Peacemaker's fig, he may tell someone else, but you'll have time to escape. Knowing this ahead of time is helpful. SO study your opponents and anticpate their actions. That is a basic concept, but I think a lot of less experienced players don't realize how important that is.
Your funniest TW moment or Disaster : I was on my planet and decided to hit C to enter the Citadel, B to Buy a Teleporter and Y to say "yes buy it". Problem was, I was already in the citadel and the first C made me go into the Computer menu. I hit the keys so fast, I had no way to stop blowing myself up with all my figs and cash on me. It was classic :)

Anything else you might want to add : I would like to thank some players for being great corpmates or enemies these past carnage filled years (in no particular order): EleqTrizi'T (The old pro), Retaliator (come back for real dude),Maelene (she has seen alot), Maverick (damn Teuts), Artemis (haha my damn Teuts), Lord Chaos (Lordy <G>), Ripclaw (Perhaps Adomma will show you the ropes of being RED one day, LOL), Last Starfighter (Is an ISS a good ship?), Guardian (You've threatened me more than the PLO threatens Israel in the current WTC), Hellcat (Heh), Bad Girl (I like you better when Fedcomm is off, j/k), Barnhill (Only guy I know who can Blind Warp by accident into a sector with no density), Darkhawk (We had some damn good games together), Rolodex (Thanks for photoning me that game where you were supposed to be my friend LOL), Hosem (wish we had played a serious game against each other - Bow), Hollywood, Cruncher, Hekate, Epicenter, Lancez, Space Ghost, Naz, Kavanagh, Adomma, Kurt's Spirit, Zoobar (damn fast online), Tweety, Mojoe, Guru, Monolith, Hammer, Dietrich, Timberwolf, Soylent Green, Zep, Jackal, Peacemaker, Prestone, Founder, Acid, Nightstalker , Cowboy, White Knight , Hellbitch, Mirkath , Speedy , Atilla , Morpheus , Banano , Sharkey, Fuseblown , Cosmic Chicken , Bud , Leila , Karon , Doodle ,  Exodius , If I didn't mention you, please forgive, it could take all day to think of all the people I have come across out there. The current WTC game will most likely be my last active game, so thanks everyone. Perhaps I'll come back after a long vacation and check in to see who the new Badasses are :)
